1gb Partout 1994 Eagle Talon AWD

Originally bought this car from a member of this board as a donor car for another project. No longer needed. Previous owner stripped the car of the parts that he needed, performance or OEM. Engine is still in the car and can be heard running. Engine runs fine even compression across all cylinders. Everything is still attached to the car. If there is enough interest I will have the car towed to a garage and have the car dismantled. Fenders are NFG, but the rest of the car seems ok. There is some rust. Interior is good. Car is avaiable as a whole but needs a few A/M gagues to make it work. I don't know if it will pass safety or e-test. Located in Scarborough.

That tranny has a wrong final drive.

that's another tranny...there's two transmissions for sale...where on the stamping does it give details?

I'll take the brakes, pads, rotors, lines, rears, etc!!

I've been wanting to do a 2 piston upgrade for awhile.

The pic you posted of the trans with the cracked bellhousing. Transmission code indicates the wrong final drive.

Whats the code on the other jdm trans you have? Could be possible that one has the wrong final drive too.

I'll see if i could get the camera in there

could you 'translate' that stamping for me, so I could broaden my dsm knowledge

It has been discussed before many times. If you search, you should find the relevant inforamtion on transmission codes and final drive ratios.

The "W" in the code indicates that it is a wrong final drive. Most likely that trans came from an all wheel steering Evo which has a different ratio in the rear diff.
