My engine has been sitting for about two weeks now. While I was doing the valve cover, I drained the oil and let it sit for a few days. I then filled it up to full with new oil and filter. The new oil has been sitting for about three days now.

Is it safe to start my engine over or should I unplug the MPI and ignition coil, crank it over for 10 seconds then start the engine.

UPDATE:
Well, I just disconnected the ignition coil plug, removed the MPI fuse and then cranked for 15 seconds.
Anyways, engine is running very smooth now. 0% intake leaks (god bless copper RTV), a full 7cm port job from the 2g mani to o2 housing, painted valve cover, complete engine block / turbo cleaning, full vacum hose replacment / orgranization and misc. clean-up stuff. All this in about four days plus one week in back orderd parts.
