The Dynotune Racing team was back at it again this weekend competing in Pro Limited class at CSCS Drag Racing. Ended up coming in 3rd place and also came in 2nd place at the 1st CSCS event a few weeks ago at St. Thomas dragway. Both with a podium finish! My 1g DSM ran another personal best on the first light shakedown qualifying pass right off the trailer. This is with the car turned down to around low 900's AWHP !!! We still have more on the table, car is running like a champ this season and will be hoping to end the season off with a low 9 with the car as is. Once that is achieved, we got a few changes coming to get the car to step it up to the 8 second mark 60: 1.41 330: 4.091 1/8: 6.23 MPH: 112.76 1000: 8.08 1/4: 9.56 MPH: 154.34 Here's a link to my Instagram with enough videos and slips for the ones that can see it https://www.instagram.com/p/CDKLUHpHBlR/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkFor those that do not know the car at all, it's fully caged now with chromoly DOM tubing, 10 point work of art done by Matt Morgado at GT Custom Exhaust, Kirkey racing seat, seat brace, 5 point harness, parachute, belly pan, cut off switch, DS loops, scatter shield, window net, proper SFI approved safety gear, and an NHRA Sportsman chassis certification good to run 8.50's. You can see pics of the setup on my IG link. Enjoy!! On a side note Helder Daponte was also out with us banging nothing but high 9 sec passes all day in his full weight, street legal, street tire 1g DSM like a champ, pass after pass

Thanks guys! Ran a 9.49@155.61 mph last Wednesday for another personal best at a private track rental at St. Thomas Dragway, and this is with the car turned down still to low 900's at the wheels. Gonna keep chipping away at in the next few weeks to try to get that bottom 9. What's even more impressive is Helder is sitting at a 9.46@147 with his full weight, street tire, full interior street car 1g auto DSM. I think 8's are around the corner for both of us.
Bryan, HANS device is not mandatory for my level, so I am just using a simple SFI approved neck collar.

That's fantastic for both of you!! What changed between the two runs to get you the better time?
Ah ok! That's alright, those things are pretty expensive!

Ah ok! That's alright, those things are pretty expensive! Nothing has changed, car is still making the same power as last year. Just better seat time and driving. The 157 MPH is good enough for high 8s, getting a clean pass at this level is more harder than it looks, but I'm working on it. Some folks actually think a 1000HP car should automatically run 8s, which is easier said than done, and definitely easier said if you like to yap away on interweb and the stands, lol. We like to stay humble about it and run our cars more than our mouths. When I do run 8s, I can say the car will still be making the same power. Making the power is easy and one thing, laying it down, keeping the car and drivetrain together and getting a clean pass is just another thing to add to the mix. Thanks Ziggy!!

End of race season update: Never got to do a pass at the CSCS season finale as it rained out. So as it stands the last pass for the DSM down the track was the 9.2 and 162+mph that it did with ease at the last CSCS event. Glad to say I hit my goal for the year and puts me at 2nd fastest DSM/4g63 in the country as it stands!! Happy to end the season like this with the car perfect and nothing but PB's all year Quite a few changes coming to the car over the winter like Magnus mechanical fuel pump, bigger injectors and a few other things so I can turn it up more for next year. As it stands the car is still ONLY on 4 ID2000cc injectors and drop in walbro pumps, making well over 1000AWHP and trapping 162+ MPH.....shutting all the haters up for good, lol. Funny when local backyard builders say it's not possible, my car and slips has proved them ALL wrong, over and over again Going for 8s and fastest 4g63 in the country next year, should be interesting... Also got the Evo X setup right, will be going for fastest Evo X in Canada come spring time as well.... Enjoy the coming cold season and stay safe folks!!

Your right I haven't shut up the haters, I just make them look even more stupid with their opinions, LMFAO...everyone laughing at them now. That one dude complains I couldn't get into the 9s, couldn't run over 160 mph, 1000+whp is not possible with walbro pumps.....ya your right, he finally moved on once I achieved it all. Maybe that's why the Canadian DSM scene got no where. You got more tools here getting asshurt over my accomplishments rather than trying to go out and achieve something themselves. Today my car/builds and some guys who hang around close with me are some of the fastest DSMs in the country. I've come a long way in the DSM scene, and very proud to see that my work and builds speak for themselves. My progress must really hurt a lot of your boys. Now I'm laughing at dudes buying dog boxes with nothing to show for it....talk about when the tables turn Jay Stacey, don't you find it odd just not too long ago got, you on Facebook were talking sh!t about me and my shop and trying to shut down my business and publicly posting that you hope my kids don't have food to eat? And now your hoping I get into the 8s, lol. Funny guy. I'm having a good laugh now, lol

Figured you are getting old. You blast people on the internet, then can't even remember it. Well I'm not that old yet I got tonnes of people who come by the shop and remember everything you said. Anyways I'll start up another thread when I have more progress with the car so, this one is littered now. I guess that ends this thread.
