Can't remember the last time someone posted up something worthwhile for test n tune and since some members here don't follow me on FB or IG thought I'd share with the group Well just like the title says, and if you remember me from back in the days, it's not the first time my 1g DSM is breaking records again and again! First with the 16g, then with 10's on stock block and pump gas, now just going fast as ever This past weekend my 1g DSM goes 154.04 in the 1/4 mile at St. Thomas. ET is crap with a 10.4, best the car has done this year is a 10.2, best so far to date is a 10.05. Car is making just shy of 1000 AWHP and believe it or not still running my 12 year old MT ET drags which I first cracked 10's on over a decade ago. Well they are well past expiry date and they just don't like to hook up with 1000AWHP... Even the 154.04 MPH was a crappy pass, on a clean pass I am expecting the car to go close to 160MPH with a new set of slicks. Anyways just thought I'd share the progress of my 1g DSM. Previous record was a 150 MPH pass. 154 MPH now makes me the fastest 1g DSM in Canada. Once I blast through 9.90, I should take title of quickest 1g DSM in Canada as well. Another 1g DSM I'd like to give credit to running sick times as usual, Helder Dapont with a 10.6@134 on Street tires this past weekend with his best being 10.6@145MPH. I think that makes him the fastest street tire DSM in the region If you roll with us you'll also see the fastest 1g FWD DSM in Canada, Clif with his blue 1g DSM running low 11's and 125+ MPH traps Of course all the above mentioned DSMs have been tuned in house here on my state of the art load bearing "heartbreaker" AWD dyno @ Dynotune Racing. I've had a few people now asking me what I have for drivetrain for 150+ mph passes as most other DSM's with this power have Dog Box's, beefed up Tcases, 2 piece Driveshafts and DSS axles to hold it all. Simple: Stock syncrobox Dynotune Racing spec'd Drag transmission, OEM transfer case, OEM driveshaft, OEM axles front and rear, and OEM rear diff. Of course everything is setup and rebuilt right. These are not OEM 25 year old parts, but goes to show you how a well setup DSM can hold it together Car also just has a half cage and now requires a full 10 point with a parachute and some extra safety equipment which will probably be done over the winter. Of course there are a lot of key things to our success which you won't get from this simple post. A lot of hard work and attention to detail are put into all of these cars. You want a fast ass record breaking DSM like mines ??? Need a 1000HP Engine ? Need a 1000HP capable transmission ? Give me a call @ Dynotune Racing, home of the fastest 1g DSM in Canada 647-202-6701 PS: Keepin the haters at bay

Now make me a super fast DSM that consumes close to no gas and puts a huge grin on my face every mm I push the accelerator! Not being funny, I actually want something that's as close to doable via that goal. Already reducing weight everywhere I can, including me. Not looking for crazy horses or 1/4 mile times. Needs to be incredibly reliable too. Want to drive my car forever! That sounds too easy to do Alex, glad to hear everything is holding together, I should have that read diff ready for you soon

Seems a little quiet in here so figured I'd provide an update I don't usually take the car out till later in the season but this year we decided to get out early and pack in that 9 second pass Took the 1g DSM out to CSCS last weekend and competed in Pro Limited Class. I finally piloted the car right into the 9's with a 9.74@153.84 MPH with a soft 1.5 60 foot to break a new personal best and a new Canadian record for fastest and quickest 1g DSM on our soil !! We will be trying our best to compete in all CSCS events this season, so stay tuned for the next event at Grand Bend. The car is running great and there is some more room on the table to go faster Goal for the car this year will be to get it into the low 9's, then next year the car will finally be going through some REAL weight reduction to take it to the next level. If you don't follow me on Instagram or FB, here's a link to the videos and photos, love it or hate it, don't forget to turn up the volume https://www.instagram.com/p/BzFB2y3nnk5/https://www.instagram.com/p/BzHlasinjqX/Also wanted to put another Dynotune Racing built and tuned 2g DSM from the Ottawa Valley in the spotlight. He's not on this forum, but Zack Versace drove all the way down from Ottawa and competed along side with me in Pro Limited class with his PT7285 powered 2g DSM. This was not only Zacks first time ever going down the drag strip but on his 2nd pass ever ran a personal best of 10.30@145.36 MPH with a very poor 1.9 60 foot Big props to Zack and amazing how he jumped right in with the big dogs in the event and took home a personal best. Not only did he go home with a PB he's also currently the most powerful 2g DSM in the Ottawa valley. Stay tuned as we try our best to end the season off by getting this car into the 9's as well!! Enjoy the videos, as you can see there is much more in this car as well from driver, seat time and tune. https://www.instagram.com/p/BzHZbKvHAE4/It's pretty early in the season, we WILL be back out again to run both cars harder. Hope to see some of you at Grand Bend

Back at it this past weekend at CSCS, ran a 9.80@154.58 MPH on the 1st qualifying pass. My best MPH to date Then got eliminated on the first round when the bolt decided to back off on my S90 and the throttle cable just came off right after the burnout. After I got that sorted out, the clutch decided to slip top of 3rd, but still ran a personal best 1/8th of 6.1 . I think it could have been a mid to low 9s pass. We'll be back out soon to try to end the season with a low 9 https://www.instagram.com/p/B2dO9L2HUbu/https://www.instagram.com/p/B2dWM7LHUE0/

Nice! That's pretty wicked! How much time you think you can take off after that? Never going auto?

Never going Auto. I should be able to run low 9s as the car sits. The car weighs close to 3000 lbs still. Want to try to end the season with a low 9, then aim for 8s next year. On a side note, for the guys who follow me on IG we have yet another DSM in the 9s this year. Mike Rocky (he's on this forum) came by the shop for a tune in his Haltech powered 2g DSM last week. After I got the car dialed into 900+ AWHP he took it straight to the track and banged off a blistering 9.3@151 MPH on his first pass ever with the car!!! Some food for thought

Didn't I already call you a troll... You must have some serious memory loss, cause I don't, lol....
Now get lost and go start your own thread on how much you hate me....
Sorry no soup for you here....ill let you figure out your exhaust problems on your own, we have nothing to do with hack ass DSMs like yours!
Poor Jason's, been at it for a year and nothing to show for it.... Hahah
The level of jealousy and hatred rises as more and more successful cars come out of my shop...meanwhile trolls like this Jason can only make little pokes and stabs anytime they get on the internet, it's hilarious...
Man acting like he's cool with me, while he spent the whole last year talking sh!t about me....idiots... They come in piles...sigh

Damn it, this bugs me. I like both you guys, and I hate to see sh!t like this.
Reza, I don't blame you for not wanting to help someone who talks sh!t about you, but you could say no in a nicer way. I don't know for sure, but maybe this was Jason's way of trying to heal old wounds by starting a decent conversation. I am sure he can get the information elsewhere, it was a simple enough question.
Jay, you should not be surprised Reza is not willing to help people who have trash talked him in past. I HOPE I am correct that your asking this question was indeed an extending of the olive branch....
I agree that Reza's attitude does not make him friends, but it seems he knows his stuff well enough that he has sufficient business without friends. Sort of like a Marco at Magnus. You can't argue that he doesn't know his stuff, but the fact remains he is a dick. He has every right to have a bad attitude, should just not then be surprised when people speak negatively of him.....
Now, everyone, please play nice. Less than 4 months until my birthday...

Two different businesses Ziggy, when people come here I can actually tell them we don't want to do the work please take it elsewhere, maybe you don't get that, possibly you don't quite understand my business yet. I have read numerous posts from this individual hoping and praying that my business shuts down so I don't have food to put on the table for my kids, and here you are wondering why im treating him this way... Amazing. I start to question his friends now too, I feel sorry for whoever hangs around with this sick individual. He's one disgusting person. I've held BBQs in the past and seen this individual here eating free burgers, then when you see them running their mouth off on the net, you wonder why he even came around. These are the cheap low life DSMers that ruin it for everyone and give the platform that "cheap" nickel and dime DSM stigma. All it takes is one bad apple to ruin it for everyone. He thinks he's the last one here, yet he doesn't realize that the hundreds of DSMers who still come to me, and are not members here are the ones who actively read this forum It's like the rising dead, the people who actually post here now represent 0% of active DSMers in Canada.. Hey if you don't like my attitude, Dynotune Racing is definately not for you....there are MANY other hack shops in the GTA dying for the business and willing to do the work for a fraction of what I charge

Quite honestly, I have issue with us ending up here every time. Back in the day, we would just nuke discussions like this, but if we did that now there would be no discussions on this board, sadly! I mean I don’t want to delete the whole discussion and it’s a pain to remove just the incendiary bits.
I don’t see this getting resolved ever. You two should just bite your tongues. Don’t post in each others threads. If Jay is talking something on another board or FB or whatever, take the argument over there. I doubt anyone really wants to read it here.

I get that. Just saying everyone is not as lucky as you are in that respect. I mean, think back....there was a time you were considering taking over RTM Racing. I can guarantee you that if RTM customers were treated like that, RTM would be dead already. We saw that customers were just IGNORED, not even disrespected, and RTM was on death's doorstep.
I also get that you have the luxury of picking and choosing your customers, but I still think there should be a more civil way of saying "no" that would eventually allow wounds to heal instead of repeatedly tearing them open. That is just my beliefs on life in general, but each of us is indeed entitled to do things however they wish.
I happen to think a lot of Jay. He and Sandra have always taken good care of me at the shootout. They make sure there is a place for me to sit, or get me a cold drink, and even get my car and bring it to me the year I had to park far away on the other side of the track. I think of him a little bit like Steve Kinnaird......given how small a budget he has for his DSM, and given that he has to do everything with chewing gum and coat hanger wire, I think he accomplishes quite a bit.
I also have great respect for your abilities. You have proven repeatedly that you know what you are doing, and you have always treated me well and fairly.
I guess the fact that I like you both is why it bothers me to see this sh!t happening.

Good idea Rob, that's exactly what I was doing, just posting my results for everyone to see, trying to keep the DSM community alive as I have been doing. Maybe these haters should stop posting in my threads, kind of the way I don't bother with theirs 30 years into the platform and if you can't figure out where to run your exhaust, maybe he should call up Boostin Performance and put in a serious inquiry, lol. On that note Ziggy, I remember years ago, because you had one bad dealing with Helder, you decided to stop selling parts to like 15 guys. No body questioned your business practices then, and nobody still questions them till today. That is why we choose to run our own businesses, so that we can make our own decisions and be our own bosses. I'm sure you have a sh!t list of who not to sell parts to. Guess what so do I, there's a handful of guys that won't ever get any of my services. I get he's your friend, cool. He's a troll to me I guess I'll start a new thread with any more progress I have with my car this year.

You are absolutely right. I did do that back in the day. Looking back, I think it was a mistake, and I do NOT have such a list today, but that doesn't change the fact I did that, you are correct. Today there might be people who don't get their parts until I am paid in full, but I can't think of a single person I would refuse to sell to. Maybe in time you will feel that way also. We mellow as we get older. But again, you are absolutely correct, that is a big part of why we work for ourselves, and you are well within your rights to run your business as you see fit..
On a side note, before I forget, congrats on the accomplishments this year! I have always loved your car!

Cool so I guess back to racing....anyone else other than Dynotune Racing crew bang into the 9s this year? On a side note we had an old time grouch from the Ottawa valley call out one of my customers to race his mid to high 10 second car last year after I tuned his car. I purposely went down and helped out my good friend Zack Versace in the Ottawa valley get the car dialed in to a solid 10.3@145+ on the first time out. Sad to see people call us out then go into hiding with their tail between their legs for the rest of the year LMFAO, after we bang off a solid good pass..... This is how I support my good customers. I actually have two more customers on this list, I'm gonna get them both into the low 10s just for good times sake, and both of them are 2g's. Hopefully next year we have more than a handful of cars running single digits. All these cars are well past the bolt on series squeeking mid to high 10s at mid 130's mph. That's soo mid 2000s, people need to seriously get on with the program haha. Anyways we don't just talk the talk at Dynotune racing, we walk the walk and send the haters back to the drawing board!! Glad I have been shutting up ALL of them with my work this year and quite pleased to see we are the ONLY ones representing DSMs in PL class in CSCS. You got people who act hardcore on the internet, here we have a proper sanctioned Canadian event and me and my crew are the only DSMs in Canada that stand a chance to compete. The guys who spend more time yapping away on the internet compete in the local Laval races and don't like to show face in front of 1000s of people where we like to prove things... I'm glad my slips and my car have been doing all the talking for me DSM are too old now, we're going for the fastest EvoX and CT9A record in Canada so stay tuned....

I like to respond to negativety hard, and with my foot flying though the door, it just sucks when people can't take a taste of their own medicine, haha.
Anyways I've gotten quite a few DSMs in the single digits this year and a few into the 10s...would be nice to actually see some other DSMs compete in these big Canadian events rather than yap their flappers away on FB and then run from the real events.... cheers
Let me know it your interested in bringing the car out with us next season Bryan, should be interesting.
