The first stock roll stop I used on this car was allready stripped. So I modded it for a nut and bolt. Since that point, I was paronoid so I put nuts on my second solid welded stock mount. And drilled the holes. I replaced that mount with a stock mount with an insert from a left over rear 1g Avid mount. That mount is still on the stock threads, but i dont like them. Might weld bolts pointing down to drop in the holes. Cause, ya its a bitch. Ive only pulled the motor once since I built the car... But Ive dropped the tranny twice and changed the mounts 3 times before I was happy with them.

Probably someone over tightened it would be my guess, I've had mine out, oh, 5 or so times, still on the stock mount and with 1.6 60' launches I haven't ripped it out yet.

Lol I'm actually with Jay on that. Upgrading nuts and bolts everywhere I can, I have. It's easy to sleeve a bolt and torque the nut. It's aligning the pointed end bolts to welded nuts that can be a pita. And that's where you can eff the threads.. It's what I think he's referring to. In particular, the timing side upper motor mount.

^ Did anyone else notice that? The site looks damn good to start with all familiar pics Too bad it's far away from me Thanks, it's something I just put together for the time being. The site is being professionally done and will have a different look in a month or so when I'll officially launch and announce it. It's coming together. I have already bought an AWD Dyno and am currently working on getting a good machine to do REM ISF treatment on transmission parts. I'm very close on securing a nice unit right now which is zoned for automotive work and they have no problem with me running the dyno all day if required. Plan is to have a nice meet at the shop in early spring and plenty of Dyno days for the DSM folks this year. You won't find cheaper dyno rates anywhere else in the GTA, and unlike the Dynapack (which takes forever to setup/hookup) this is a proper roller style dyno. Drive your vehicle onto it and we'll strap it down.

You are the only person (most likely better than JT) that we can trust ours DSMs to! No more nightmares like Manny Sandhu went through! My stock trany holds fairly well (near 270k on it) but rebuild defiantly needed soon. My FP 68HTA will most likely kill it at 27+psi before spring arrives once again

You're lucky to have such nice weather.
We've been dealing with the battle of 4 seasons, week by week. Seriously, it's -25 right now and in 2 days we're back up to +2.
WTF !

How are your injectors dealing with the e85? NM, 65 is good!!
Did you replace your filter with a stainless filter?

Good stuff!! Yeah she looks great, loving the wheels!!
I heard the paper filters get destroyed by e85, I don't recall what oem uses though.
