Something tells me most guys on here have the 2gs for fun rather than alternative uses They just feel better inside, more refined imo. The 1g you have to beat on to really have enjoyment. Although it's probably a blast on a track, it feels out of touch when driving in common traffic. Personally, I like the seating position in the 2g better than the 1g. Also, instead of feeling like an aquarium (square and see-through) the 2g feels more like a jet fighter capsule; all rounded with the same visibility. A little less corner room inside, but who uses the corners of meeting metal? Wasted space Seeing as it's newer it doesn't have flimsy controls (most 1gs on a hard bump will trigger the wipers lol, mine included: worn stocks)

LOL this conversation is always too funny. Personal preference is always a fun thing to argue!! I love my 1g, probably because it's unrefined, and that's further enhance because everything behind the seats has been stripped. My only complaint is the seats don't hold me that well, after being in the evo seats I have really been wanting something better.
Side note: Mitsubishi would really be doing something wrong if there newer car wasn't more refined.

I'd be freaking out if I was just starting now . Given, it's probably for the better so one doesn't put his car back on the road when it's still frosting outside.

Hi Gui, Jer! Sup dudes? I bought a warranty with it, and I know how to use a wrench.....i think Its under 100k so its still got some life in her before I should start to worry, and its got a brand new clutch as of last month curtsey of the dealer. Repairs don't scare me, 207 dollar replacement xenen bulbs from dealer scare me. Ebay bulbs dont work, the car knows.....ask me how I know Audi really knows how to force you to buy parts from the dealer. My biggest goal with this car is to learn and NAIL coding to undo any of that nonsense Audi has programmed into the car

Good to see you Rob! Keep us updated on how that thing is, it's definitely on my radar for a second car when we move.
Which forum is that, I may have to hop on there and check it out.
