I would, but it's pitch black outside and we're about to leave.
I did record a lot of the races on Tim's camcorder though.
Lucian, you and your friends arrive home safely?

What a great event, glad I was able to make it out. Soo many fast DSMs, Evos and GTRs! I already have my mind set on making it out again next year

My car ran mint on the way there, threw down some good power while there and on the way home, and now the car is being rewarded.
Such a good time. Last night was fun too, met some people with the worst short term memory too. Haha

Ziggy, sorry I wasn't much online so I didn't see your post. Just ship it to me and throw a gasket in there for Jamie...
Ah heck, I'll call you sometime tomorrow.
This year's shootout was definitely in the eye of the beholder.
I trailered my car down with the intention to run it, however due to the lack of prep time the week before, I was reluctant to put her on the track.
My car caught fire on Thursday night when a brake line touched a positive post on the fuse box while we were bleeding my new Wilwood setup. Ghislain coated a corner my engine bay in fire extinguisher. I was not the happy camper after that. It wrecked a brand new stainless line.
Lucky for me, there was a hydraulic shop across from Buschur that made me a new line. I did not make it to the car show.
Saturday was a bust. The car was not idling with the new T-Body and SMIM very well. I did some adjustments later on that day and it sorted itself out.
I forgot sh!t at home, I was incredibly rushed, I can't say this was my best shootout.
I made it home in one piece, and I did get to meet, and see some great people again. We had a good time overall, but it could have been better.

LOL that sucks! hilarious that it runs a 16.50, seems like a waste since the stock car runs faster... Doesn't it!?!

Hello
This year had a bot of a different "swing" to it. Max Effort only allowed us 3 pass of AutoX and 3 pass of Drag. I managed a 36.148 sec for the AutoX. The course was pretty interesting with some technical corners and a good area where you could carry a little speed. Guess I killed a cone on my best pass adding a full second to my time. Never felt it. As for the 1/4 mile I did a 12.3 at 116. That Track is a little harder on the launch but I managed a 1.8 sec 60 ft. Not my best but the thing hauled the mail. Bummer was that the NLTS could not be engaged and I grinded 2,3 and 4 quite nicely...
Sunday was a bit of a bummer as I could only do 1 pass before the elimination. Gig started late as we had to wait for the Track Crew to clean it as it rained early in the morning. I was wondering why the thing knocked and found out; after I was eliminated that my Meth Nozzle blew off the IC Pipe; did not like the Boost...
All in all it was my 13 or 14 SO and was able to drive back home on it's own power.
Planning to attend next year.
Ghislain
