I have a buddy that loves using electrolysis to clean up parts.
They look beautiful after they are finished!
Is it just the mounting bracket that is different from the 2g 2pots?

Nicely restored for sure. I love how you can take something that is considered junk and turn that into a finish product that everyone wants.

Johnny - yea I left the boots on and got a rebuild kit for them too. To be honest, the boots seem fine and probably not much harm was done to them.

Bryan - yes I think the outlander bracket sits the caliper 10% further away from the centre giving you more rotor to use. So outlander rotors are needed aswell.

Alex - totally agree with you, especially when I got all winter to just putter at stuff. There's also lots of sweet shows on the velocity channel that give me motivation.

10mm, which is more like 3.6%, but will definitely slow the car better than the 2G saddle/rotor.

10mm on the Radius, not the diameter, so more like 7.2%

Haha ok thanks guys, I was more just curious about the caliper itself, I know about the rotors.

What size rims do you have Kyle, and what are you upgrading from.

I am debating on doing this but I run 16s so just want to make sure it would fit.

10mm right. Must have gotten 10% stuck in my head lol

Bryan my spyder had the single piston stock brake set up and I run 18s and there's still lots of room left for rotors.

I could be wrong but I think outlander came stock with 16" rims right?

Indeed sir, my mistake. 3.6% seemed small..

I guess I just need to check to see if I have more than 10mm on between the caliper and the rim and that should give me a good idea.
I went from 1 pots to 2pots like you, just did the 2g ones though. Makes a huge difference and I am sure you will notice an even bigger difference!

For reference my 2012 ralliart has the same outlander brakes and I am running 2g talon rims for winter tires, so there is clearance.
