shocked shocked shocked

You sure you want to drive it after all that work? LOL

Could eat off that under body.

Also, it's weird seeing a dipstick on that side of the engine tongue

Must be 9's this season right? or low 10's?

Pffft, only on nice days will she see the road. wink

And it's High 10's this year... gotta walk before you can run. I only ran 11.4 last year on my second time out to the track all season. I KNOW it's got more in it, and the weight savings, lighter wheels and hopefully some better tuning will net me a 10 second pass.

I'd like to see 10.7@130, but it'll be tough.

Looks Great! Was it all painted with DOM16? Brushed or sprayed.

Anything that was bare metal or had rust on it was sprayed with DOM16. All of it was top coated with a Semi-gloss Metalex Industrial-Strength chassis paint.

With a tuck tuck here and a tuck tuck there, hear a tuck, there a tuck everywhere a tuck tuck.

The nice clean black underbody makes it look more like a race car for some reason.

A lot of work going into this years build, hopefully it pays dividends!

If anything Shandon, it won't be till the fall when the air is nice and cool.

I just hope to see 10.X something... get out of the boring 11's... SOOO last year....

In all honesty guys, just doing what I've done to the body has cost me less than $350 all year. The steel alone was only $60, the paint and wire was about $200 over the course of the winter. Blasting my subframe cost me $60.

Parts from Ziggy... well.... yeah... that's a bit more. wink

My converter is still tight so I can keep some street manners. I'm pulling through the brakes at 4500RPMs, so I'm leaving at about 4300. Unless I install a staging brake, it's gonna be hard to keep the car from staying still.

Do a vac pump setup for the track, it will give you more hold, and easier to stage on a pro tree.

4300 is lots, what do you use for a 2 step cut?

Ah too bad. I looked into that one for my BMW but it doesn't fit. I was hoping it was something similar but smaller smile If I still had a DSM I'd put the exact same muffler on, looks awesome and stealthy at the same time!

Really awesome work Ryan, kudos to you!

Maybe I missed it earlier but I'm confused about how that trans cooler is going to work. Is there a pump on one of the lines? Or just some auto trans voodoo that I don't know about?

No Bryan, same combo as before, the springs were used when I got them.

Ghislain Goudreau came over tonight and enjoyed a few Erdinger with me.

This was the result of our hard work:

New rubber on the Rota's. 225/50/ZR16 Hankook Ventus V12 EVO. These tires are NICE and fit quite well with the car.

Still have to bolt up the exhaust and put the fuel sending unit in, but otherwise, she's on the ground!

Thanks to Ziggy at RTM Racing for the speedy shipment of my new rear dust shields and a few other nick nacks.

Looks good man.

Nice choice on the tires, few people down here swear by the V12 Evos and they are cheap too.
