for most people probably, but I suck.. and I have to pull it off 2 cars (pull from eclipse to put in talon..) and the talon one is giving me a hard time (passenger axle stuck) and I have taken a break from it until it decides to cooperate

Whats stuck on the passenger axle?
Undo strut bolts and axle from tranny. I thought that was the easy part

I can't get it out of the transmission. You must keeping mind, I suck at this

I've dropped a tranny once with that axle still in... If worse comes to worse...

Yeah there's only 31 people signed up so far. Last year there were about 50, let's see if we can do that again.

I most likely will not be able to attend this year's invasion,
because I will be visiting family. But hey you never know !

I'm trying to cut down on the stops. We should for sure stop at Tim Horton's in Stoney Creek like last time, however it'd be best to pick just one point in the east to start.

Timings can work well here.

Suggestion

Those who want to meet at Yorkdale, meet there, and then lets say leave @ 9AM, and those West of Yorkdale could get on the 401 at specific times, we could "pick them up" along the way?

I'd rather drive east to Yorkdale and start with you guys than try to join along the way.
But I don't know how many people are in Mississauga already. If it's heavier on this side then you guys should stop near here instead of Yorkdale. The 401 is a POS near YD.

I like Ryan's idea. One of you guys could give the Mississauga area guys a call when you are close, and we can hop on the highway and join the train of DSM's.

It looks good on paper, but remember what happened last time when the group tried to go from a stop? It just takes too long to get moving and then you can't even call it a cruise...
At least that time it was rural and not a fast highway so people had a chance to catch up.

^^ Where possible, instead of making left turns, multiple rights are always a better option. Keeps us close

Still deciding if I should do the DSM or the Ralliart. I think I'll leave that decision to whether I get the DSM to pass the e-test or not.

Meeting up along the way would be a mess. Unless we stop in Sauga. I think we should all just meet yorkdale its not too far.

Yeah I don't think meeting up like that would work too well. People would get split up for sure. There's got to be a stop where everyone can meet up before getting on the road.

The Stoney Creek to Cayuga leg is short. The fun part of the cruise will start in Milton.
So it's best to pick one spot in or east of Milton and get the most people on it there.

There's a Canadian tire at Steeles and the 401 in Milton. Pretty big parking lot

Yes, and it's right off the 401 at James Snow Pkwy.
I didn't attend that part of the cruise, but I heard that it was difficult to keep together after leaving the lot due to left turns and red lights. I plan to fix the route if we choose that lot again.

I won't be racing.. Too much on the line to bust in August Maybe if my winter beater is ready but I don't think so!
