Might be a tight squeeze, these 1 car garages are really spacious, I'm telling you!
The forecast is changing dramatically. Sunny one day, rainy the next, so who really knows. I'm not too sure what kind of a rain plan we should have. We might just have to set a rain date for a month later?

Tim, I got some spare clutch pedals and levers if that is all you need to get it going again. As long as the pedal assembly's bracket didn't brake line mines, you can cut the old ones off and rebuild.
I'm ready for Sunday. My pedal developed some slop on the bushing at the pedal side of the assembly. It used to have slop at the master cylinder side, until I welded it. I ordered the metal bushings from Shep last Tuesday so they should be here soon. I'll give you a shout later on tonight and maybe shoot up there tomorrow since it's a nice day off... granted you have the day off and are free.

Isn't the big point of this thing just to get all the DSMs together and go for a cruise? Most of you are AWD, so unless it's a hurricane/monsoon/sick-joke-of-god, the weather really shouldn't be such a big deal! Perhaps now is the time to plan out a nice route to bypass the QEW and make the cruise part more interesting. I'll volunteer to start mapping something out - there are lots of nice roads west of Mississauga into burlington. We could grab the 401 to the country and then head south to the track. I don't even want to think about the complexity of having to re-organize such a big event. Lets stay the course, please. If it gets rained out, we'll just have another T&T event to plan - but consider the cruise a done deal. Maybe we should just have an alternate indoor destination if it's raining, so we don't all end up at the race track with nowhere to park/chill and no racing to be had. My suggestion: GO KARTS in Hamilton. We did it on the Peckerhead shoot-out snow-day a few years back, and it was a blast!

My suggestion: GO KARTS in Hamilton. We did it on the Peckerhead shoot-out snow-day a few years back, and it was a blast! That it was. I'd definitely be up for that. So we make this a rain/shine event? Things aren't looking so good for me. My ECU won't be here in time, neither will DSMLink.

Start planning the route then Rob Like I said, I've got no clue on that area, as I've never been to Cayuga. Weather is looking better and better for that day I told you I would call in a favour!

Where will you be coming out in Hamilton? I'm not that familiar with Hamilton at all but I know some of the streets in Mike Lanes area (Haldimand Road etc..) Maybe Mike could lend us a hand getting from Hamilton to Cayuga on "Scenic" roads?

I'm going to try and score a video camera for the cruise, and anyone who has one, let me know. In regards to getting some footage for a Club DSM Canada video, we're going to need a way to plan a few shots. A few drive-by's will be nice, and if I can get ahead of the pack a bit, I'd like to get a good shot of a bunch of cars coming around a corner or something. Let's put my 2 years of TV Productions to good use.....

I'm gonna be recording pretty much the entire cruise. And then whoever runs at the track I'll record. As well. I figure when we leave york dale, and when we leave from where ever we stop to take some individual pictures of our cars is a good area to get some corner / straight away shots.

my assumption was 9am at Yorkdale, heading out at 9:30am or so. Also wondering if the train wants to make a quick stop at 403/Dundas Timmys as it's on the way, this way, we can collect some of the Mississauga/Oakville people. There is also a Sunoco by the QEW on-ramp here as well for those that want the 94 gas. FYI, 403/Dundas ramp is approx 5 mins away from the QEW ramp, both merge together heading westbound within a few km from the ramp anyway so it doesn't matter which one we get on. http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&...mp;spn=0.01694,0.038495&t=h&z=15A = Yorkdale Mall B = Timmys C = Sunoco Just an idea

Doesn't look like the 95 will be ready.
I might just take my 97, but if everything goes as planned, I might have a special treat....Something that maybe only Brandon can appreciate..
You have sparked my attention, haha.

Hey Rob, the route you plotted looks good!
A few suggestions in the Milton area... instead of taking Tremaine south for that section (Steeles -> Derry), try to scoot over to Appleby line. Coming down from Rattlesnake piont there's a fantastic low speed double switchback there, on one of the steepest grade roads in Ontario.
Also, FYI, at the corner of Steeles & Martin (just south of the 401) is an OPP station. They're generally unconcerned about modded cars (or maybe I was lucky when I lived there) but if you want to avoid it you could go north instead, turn left on 5 to pass Kelso lake and then down Appleby.

I wonder if we would attract any attention from the OPP if we stopped there ... Other than that I like the route Rob. We should stick with that. I'll be at Yorkdale, 9am.
