No, I dont think that there is an actual CFM number.
But this are NACA ducts are some engineering when into them.

I'll dig it out of the garage on Weds. It's just a cardboard template, as Manuel says. My template goes to the edge of the stock 1ga lip.

I need to wait until all the 2009 rules are out and then I'll extend the lip out as much as I'm allowed. I think SCCA only allows 3" passed the fascia so it will probably be the limiting rule set.

It shouldn't affect the engine bay temperatures since it will vent under the car behind the undertray. If anything it might improve some since with nothing under there, there is a bunch of air being rammed under the car and it's turbelent which would prevent decent flow through the engine bay.

This might just win the award for most boring picture posting on the site. This is the basic outline of my splitter which stops just in front of the front axle line. The shape will change a bit depending on the rules since I made this last spring.

nice template .... how large of a piece of carboad did you use ?? or even some measurments... wouldnt mind replicating that for my own ... any thoughts on a mounting system ???
