A buddy of mine was telling me today that he heard cell phone companies can no longer charge customers to break contracts. (I.e. buying out of a 3 year contract 1 year in.) He didn't know if this was true or not but was told by somebody that they brought this up with their provider and ended up getting out of the contract for free. Can anybody verify if this is true or has anybody heard anything about this? Apparently they will try to charge you to buy out but if you bring up this new law(if that is what it is) than they can't charge you. Seems a little too good to be true but I am curious now.
