You are mistaken. If you don't have the flow rate to keep up with the die grinder, you will empty any tank, even my 60 gallon in no time flat. You NEED the flow rate to be HIGHER than what you are using. The only REAL advantage to a larger tank is to let the air cool between when it is compressed and when it is used. The air drops its moisture when it cools. If you have too small a tank, you will get moisture into your compressed air, but it is still FLOW RATE that matters, NOT tank size!
