It's a small word afterall.... It's a small world afterall...
DAMN! I got O3WNED!
Almost as bad as red-lighting and getting yourself booted out in the first round of eliminations.
12.4's on 27psi and racegas?!!? WTF is THAT?
Didn't you find that racegas was usually worth ~ .5 sec?? Hmm.. 12.9s huh?

Yeah, exactly. And I didn't even bring up the gas issue. If after 11 months without a launch, I can whoop your ass, then yes, that is satisfaction, and I will go back to fiddlefucking. Next you'll want to run 10's... and then you'll gut your interior, and then you'll... Be happy man... 12 seconds is fast.

Don't forget that most of his passes at the strip SINCE he got the car back together, have been "tooooning passes". Tooooned himself into a 12 sec. car with 11 sec. parts. You guys seem to do that a LOT.

And I'm a terrible driver, who also doesn't know anything about cars. (just ask your buddy Marco, he'll tell you) So, why aren't you beating me? And Steve, the difference here, that I very graciously accept, is that you make tuning passes every day, to and from work. The beauty of a daily driver. I have to book an appointment with my schedule two weeks out, to do any driving.

Hollow or not, it still tastes as good. (like a bunny at Easter) I wouldn't have to ask for a consensus, if people I knew, actually knew anything for sure. Bong!

I have to work from the data I have. A run, is a run. And I won.
Yes, the correct term is BEAT him.
At least I don't have representatives of world governements, questioning whether my car should even be running at a track...

Love to. Can't get my fat ass into those designer rainbow racing seats though. Never said I had anything... ...other than a timeslip, right here, in black and white. But, at least you and I qualify visually, as cars that should be at a track...

I thought the track was for going fast. Not for looking pretty as you put your street car back on the trailer with a mitful of timeslips that are slower than what you say the car "will" run.
12.9s on a 16g? Hell, I've run a 12.2 on a 16G.
12.9s on a 20G would be enough to make me buy a Ford Focus and be done with it.
"My car has run faster than either of theirs with ME driving. Which means with someone who can really drive it could go faster than 11.8 "
We tried that. It went 14.40, and 16.06.

Yeah, that's what the track is for, I agree. Too bad a trained border official, someone trained in visual inspection, interpretation, and trusted with the safety of a nation -- felt otherwise. When I have as many hours/kilometers on the car as you do, and can't pull a 12.2, then you can laugh. In that light, after 3.5 years of EXTRA practice that Mark got in while my car was off the road -- why didn't he get any better? Bong!

My car has 79,000km on it, me having put approx 60,000 on it myself, the rest by my wife and the dealer I bought it from (it was a demo) That's the extent of my driving a stick experience. Now divide that by 14 yrs and it equals approx 4000km per year, 1200km of which would be drving to the SO the years I didn't tow it. Bah! Fuckit. I give up. I've got the fastest slip, lots of car show trophies and yet somehow I'm the slowest, ugliest, worst driving pos there is... Yep I suck.

"I've got the fastest slip"Correction... quickest slip. You deserve some serious credit Tinky. Go back and start from the begining of this thread and reread it. Some of us have come a long way .

(that is, unless you're Steve, and then it's Pecus Fornicatus, complete with rubber boots -- velcro gloves optional, for the domesticated variety)
Funny how close Pecus is to Peckerhead.

From Modified Mag. : ""This purple Plymouth has been to every shootout we can remember and runs consistent low 12's" See.. I TOLD you, you don't run 11s anymore. They run out after a year. You better buy SOMETHING soon. Because I just did.
