Yep.. 13.7 with major boost leaks.... What was YOUR last 1/4 mile time? Ever get more than one 13.2?? I can show you several 13.1 slips.. (Bring the Talon next Friday.. We'll see just how econo it's become ) It's all about driving Vince. Actually, I'm pretty sure I got that quicker E.T. with 4mph less than your 13.2... Still using pump gas as well. <sigh> Nothing like clinging to a single timeslip you got 3 years ago...
Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

The talon is in need of a rear wheel bearing/hub replacement, the part is coming in today if you want to give me a hand putting it in . But as I said, the talon is retired from drag racing, unless I stumble onto some money to install cams and injectors I have sitting in the basement. But rememebr Steve, you have a few more Key mods than I did when I ran my 13,2 @ 105mph and talk about boose leaks, I couldn't get the intake system to hold even 1psi! I was pupming in 30psi and the highest the gauge would read was 5psi, instantly dropping to 0psi when I shut the compressor off... now those are boost leaks

By more mods I mean FMIC, AFC, 550cc injecotrs, hks regrinds... I'm sure there's more that I've forgotten. My car was pretty much stock compaired to the mods you have and you only managed .1s over me You better be breaking 12's the next time you hit the 1/4mile or we'll be calling you PPG #2.

HUH?? FMIC??? Nope. SAFC?? Nope. Regrinds?? Nope. Vince: Put the crack pipe down! You ARE right about one thing though: (and, for you, that's actually pretty impressive! ) A 13.2 IS faster than a 13.7. However, if we're comparing slips, so far I have a best of 13.1, and a worst of 13.7. You've got a best of 13.2 (Using your amazing math skills, I'm sure you can see that it's slower than a 13.1). You haven't mentioned your worst though... I'm willing to bet it's WAY slower than a 13.7 . Keep clinging to that (one) old slip Vince, I realize it's all you've got.

And yes, I think one time i ran a 16.5 or something but that was when I was setting the MBC, saw it go way over 25psi in first and coasted the rest of the run.... Now, lets talk MPH

If I wanted to talk MPH, I would have kept the FWD.
Actually, you're right... LET'S talk MPH. First of all, can you explain why you needed 105MPH to get a 13.2, when obviously, all you need to do better is 100 MPH.
Have you been going to the PPG school of driving?

Mike, Mike, Mike. 425 AWHP, and times like THAT?! Don't you know your E.T. is supposed to go DOWN when you get an AWD?? (You know, like going from a 13.6 to a 13.1..) Ok, we've all heard MY excuses.. lets hear yours.

Don't be disappointed. I was learning how to launch and my boost was at 15 psi through 3r and 4th . Boost in 1st? I have no idea, my eyes never left the tach in 1st. I really only had one half decent launch all night (1.89) and that was my second last. This car and I should see mid 12 on pump gas once I up the boost and get the driving down.

Well, leaving in about 45min. to go watch run some more 12's in his 11sec car. At least he's "faster than Geri-Curl", right Mark? Sigh.. it's a shame. It appears you can outrun the Geri-Curl, but you'll NEVER outrun your past.

Sigh... Yes I did run some more 12's this year. No great surprise there. What I am amazed by, is your inability to spell. All shootout weekend I kept finding these stupid pictures of me and some funny word. GERI? wasn't that the hot bitch on Survivor? Its Jheri-curl you peckerhead. And I never wore the ****. I had Gel. btw, would you like to borrow any of my 12 second time slips? I have a bunch... how about you? Thats what I thought now fix my member title

Sorry, your wife only gave me the picture (well, that's all she gave me THAT time ). I didn't get a bottle of your "Jheri-Curl" to read the label from. You're right, I don't have any 12 sec timeslips. I ALSO don't have a 20G, a BR FMIC, a VPC, and SAFC, an EVC, or a 3" DP/TP. I DO still have ALL my hair though. (I've noticed you've started to take some of yours off.. or, is that happening naturally?) Christ, at THIS rate you'll be bald LONG before I get my head shaved!

MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm...... Snow doughnuts. <drooollll..> You bunch of suckers. You have NO idea how much fun your missing. Nothing like just cranking the wheel at 30km/h, sliding sideways into 14" of snow, and just spinning around forever. Or uber long sideways turns. MMMMMmmmmmmmmmm......

The CAR wil run 11's easy. It's the DRIVER that's the problem. (I've seen the logs of his shifts. I thought he was at a stoplight.) Actually, you can hear an example on another thread. Listen to that 1-2 shift. OUCH!

All I hear in this thread is 11s this and 11s that. Man, I'm so confused. Is 11s the amount of time it takes Steve K and Mike J to eat a crow after admitting AWD is in fact, better after all? Or is 11s the amount of time it takes Andy to clean his workbench? I hear he's got it down to a science since apparantly that's the only work he's done in his garage for 3 years? Or is 11s the time it takes PPG to shift from 1st to second? Or maybe it's the time it takes to say BOOOOOOONG!
