I've got a box of these here... They're the ones Ziggy did up for us. Just wanted to mention them out loud again... $20 a pair, shipped wherever you want. PayPal me at webmaster@ca.dsm.org if you'd like a set... and make sure your PayPal account address is correct, because that's where I'll ship them to. If you want to mail me a cheque or money order, the address is in the "Hall of Honour" section, from the main page menu. Interac Email Money transfers, are also perfectly acceptable, and actually cost us the least on this end. Be sure and include your full mailing address, as that's where they're going! ...and they're not just for your DSM... put 'em on all your vehicles today! We thank you for your support!

Hey, and if this doesn't work out, I can always sell to AutoZone, like DSMTalk.

My post was just a mere suggestion to perhaps what some people may prefer because some of us already have plate covers that actually cover and protect the plate. It was in no way to discourage people from buying this. This is a free society, and I hope that this is a club that allows the free exchange of ideas, thoughts, and suggestions. I've been mostly reading in this club since I registered 3 years ago. If people/moderators have something against me because I don't give people technical advice, if I don't donate, or if I sell items that are not DSM-related (even though there is no rule against it), then I don't like this one bit. What can and can't I say here? I'm actually going to PM this to Rob just in case it gets deleted again. Back to topic, I'm not talking about making the whole thing plastic. I'm thinking about adding just the thin clear plastic film in the middle. But, if anyone wants these, they are a great deal and a great way to support the club!

To answer the question I keep getting, yes, mailing me a cheque, or using Interac Email Money, is just fine. Obviously, the latter, is easier and preferred. That, or PayPal. Both are simple to use. I'll add this to the original description as well. Jason, you said: These will be great if they were like the ones that some dealers give you...the ones where it actually acts as a plate cover, rather than just a frame. If you had them like that, I'd buy 6!!! Someone apparently took that as uneeded criticism, and removed your post. I didn't comment on your posting selling a pair of shoes, so, in fairness, I guess they figured you shouldn't comment on the club's only fundraiser... that in turn, helps to pay for the place that you're selling so much stuff.

I'm going to order 2 dammit. I'm going to attach the plastic film thing... But didn't YOU label me the "junk peddler"? I can't believe that you remember me selling a pair of shoes here. LOL. They were new and I don't recall them as being junk, but since that time, I haven't really sold non-car things here. I actually think that anytime a moderator deletes or adjusts any text, they should write down who did it and why. IT only helps us to be better next time. Instead of calling me names, how about making up a rule to not sell shoes? Back to topic: These plates is a must have...

Thank you... As a volunteer organization, you must expect a certain amount of "tongue in cheek" responses, to things that just make us laugh, cry, or shake our heads. This project, of the last almost 10 years now, is a 100% money loser. (aren't most good hobbies, and DSMs?) Somewhere, in an administrator forum, there is a list of things you've sold... and frankly, be honoured, you're the first person we ever made a list of...

Andrew has them, as do I. They are $20. for the pair, and that goes to support this board. Could mail them to you, but if you wait until a Yorkdale meet, I will bring some out, and can have the full $20. going towards the board, instead of taking the shipping cost out of that...
Somebody should remind me before the next meet to bring some of these again...

Just thought I would resurrect this thread. There are a fair number of new guys on the board, and here is your chance to show you belong to ca.dsm.org and support this board at the same time.
Andrew still has lots of these frames, as do I. They can be shipped, but if you pick them up (like at a Yorkdale meet) all of the proceeds can go towards supporting this board.
Let's all get these on ALL our vehicles....at least, all our 4 wheeled vehicles!

Wouldn't mind a set for my other Talon either.
Might not be a bad idea to have a few sets at the cruise.

I will also be bringing what I have left in stock along, so if Ziggy runs out, you can get them from me!
Still $20 a set!
