Well you may need to find a mechanic who is affordable and knowledgeable to do your work for you.

One of my profs at school has a 92 awd with 154,000kms he got it 10 years ago with 54,000kms on it. He said to me today that its been a great car to own and he hasn't had any problems with it. But he just did have to get all the valve seals replaced, timing belt, tensioner etc. Good thing for him is his brother in law is the mechanic at the mitsu dealer here, so he got an amazing deal on the work.
