I'd go for a high flow unit, over the universal ones from crappy tire. If you can't get one from Ziggy there's a bunch of different ones listed on ebay that you could pick up for under $100 (look for a magnaflow etc., not the $30 chrome pieces of crap). I had one of the universal ones on another car and it blew out after just over a year. It was replaced under warranty but it was still a pain to have to go back to get it replaced, and the labour isn't included. The universal cats have a body length of about 12" and then about 6" of pipe from either end, so depending on your setup you may have to add in some additional pipe.

I've got a SS cat, universal, high flow style for a V8 on my laser, along with the rest of the SS system. From the head pipe back including the flex pipe $450 and 10 year warranty
I though all cats were the high flow style now regardless of make or size.??
The two styles being the platinum bead style and honeycomb mesh style. I was under the impression the honeycomb or mess style are the higher flow compared to the older bead filled cats
