ANyone ever use one? good? bad?

or any suggestions on other kits?

I am looking to do a stock rebuild on a 6-bolt

Good. I use them, MINUS the oil pan gasket.

Same, I have used them. A very few of them "might" be subpar but a good kit overall.

Like Tim said; "MINUS the oil pan gasket".

Is he talking GASKET kit, or REBUILD (ie: bearings, rings, etc.) kit?


Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

I've used all except the bearings with great results. Oil pumps, pistons, rings, etc.

Thanks for the info guys, I'll be sure to use a mitsu oil pan gasket instead of the one supplied in the kit.

I think the guys were saying to NOT use an oil pan gasket. They came without from the factory. There are lots of threads about sealing the oil pan with RTV I think it is...
