Ok, so I know it ain't a DSM, but People on the focus board will take 3 years and I will never get an answer!
When my car is cold, I start it, and start driving, not hard, just driving below 3000rpm even, I can see blue smoke out the back. When I come to a stop or a light, it just keeps puffing blue and smells like oil for a bit then stops, it keeps doing this until my car is up to operating temp.
Is this normal?? I mean, the seals COULD be shot on the turbo? I am running too much Oil presure to it I think. I read that I should have 25PSI or something at WOT? I am pushing almost 100PSI to it. If this is the case, I just need new seals and then some kind of reducer for the oil pressure. I am pulling the turbo and crap off this weekend for modification to my pipes, so if I need something done, I 'd like to do it at the same time! I will have a month or 2 to fix stuff up!
I should probably do a compression check too, I might be blowing oil by the rings, but I am not blowing out the valve cover.
Thanks!
