How difficult is it to take of the crankshaft pulley, I need some guidance please. Thanks smile


stock turbo, 2.5 inch custom downpipe w/heavy duty flex, 3 inch stainless exhaust, tappauto man boost controller, hacked mass air flow

four bolts and then pry it off. or just hit it side ways til it pops off.

First you have to release the tension from the alternator belt, then if you have a/c you have to do the same. And then do what Amin says wink

When I try to crank the bolts it wants to turn the engine?? how do u get around this prob??

At least for the 2G cars, the crankshaft pulley has a centre section that is square where you can fit in a 1/2" ratchet/breaker bar. If you don't have a 1/2" ratchet, you should be able to put a wrench/socket around the centre of the pulley. Use this to prevent the entire crankshaft pulley from turning as you loosen the other four small bolts.
