There are 3 little studs on the bov, undo the nuts and use an allen key to unscrew the studs. Then twist off the top, be careful though since theres a big spring under pressure inside and can take your eye out with ease if you dont unscrew it slowly. When you take the top off you'll see the spring, take it out and you'll see the washers. Nothing more to it.

Since I think I'm buying one of these, why would you want to take out the washers?
