Ok i have been thinking about what turbo to go with and with a few of my choices out there, this is what I am thinking. I dont want something with too much lag, and am not sure how much lag i would get on a hahn super 20g turbo? i want less lag and quick spool, and to still hit very hard and make some nice numbers. heres what i was thinking 1) custom plumb and route a garret t3/t4, and get a tial wastegate, this will cost me about 1300-1400dollars 2) hahn super 16g kit about 1900 bux 3) hahn super 20g kit about 2000 bux what to do? as well what supporting fuel mods will i need 550's? 650's? boost dependant fuel pressure regulator? help me out boys i am new to the turbo route i need info!!!!

T-28 will hit 12's if you can tune your car properly. With this turbo you will need 510 or 550 injectors and a fuel computer.

Given what you said the 16g would be a good choice. Don't go with a Hahn Turbo, the exhaust housings are rediculously large. Try Forced Performance.
And yes, you will need fuel mods. A larger pump, and bigger injectors. If you go with a big pump, chances are you will also need a fuel pressure regulator like you said. 2Gs seem to like slightly bigger injectors than 1Gs, so go with 660s over 550s if you have the means.

and any thoughts on the t3/t4?? this is a good turbo, no? Chris, the turbos with 10cm housings apparantly take (much) longer to spool. And of course Hahn makes it sound like a good idea, they sell them. T3/T4s are a great turbo in theory (depending on wheel choices, etc), but the bolt pattern on the exhaust housing is different from the mitsu housings, so you'll need a different exhaust maninfold, different downpipe, etc. Do some searching on this board. The "what turbo should I get" topic comes up frequently, and you should be able to find lots of opinions and info.

I'd get the HRC super 20G kit if you've got the money.
If you feel adventurous you can just buy the turbo for 800usd and fab up an o2 housing yourself, along with the other pieces from their kit. Best part is that you're savin like $500 from not havin to buy a wastegate.
With the 20G you'll want 650cc injectors, an adjustable FPR, and a fuel pump... and of course an S-AFC which goes without saying. You're pretty much set with all that.
$600 for injectors $150 for a pump $450 for a used SAFC $250 for afpr
$1400 for fuel mods alone kinda puts things in perspective don't it?

Chris, I would stay away from the "super" turbo's from Hahn, yeah they sound like a good idea, but everyone I've talked to that has run fast (like under 12 seconds) told me they are crap. Way too much lag and only decent topend. Like I was telling you the other night, if you want to go pretty fast for dirt cheap, buy a used 14B. This should get you a high 12 fairly easily with just a fuel pump and afc. I've seen a 12.3 with a few more mods on this setup. 14B will also give you near t-25 spool up time.
If you want to go big and have the cash, I would suggest a Green model from FP all the way. Good for low 12's on pump gas but will require alot of supporting mods (FPR 550's, logger/DSMlink to tune etc..) and they spool around 3500rpm...

Chris, whats your ultimate goal in the 1/4? 12's, 11's?? Big16g should hit low 12's and a 20g would go mid 11's maybe? but the Hahn 20g will have mega lag with that big exhaust housing, I'd stay away. What about the FP green or red??
