For anyone who has them, or has researched them, is the Racing Hart CP-035 and the Konig Sub-Zero the same wheel? I saw an ad in Sport Compact for the Konig and referenced a wheel guide in the same magazine for the Racing Hart and they LOOK the same to me. The only thing I could notice that's different is the Konig has holes cut out between the lug nut holes where the Racing Hart doesn't. I know the Racing Hart CP-035 is one of the lightest wheels out there (13.5 lbs. for a 17"). What I don't know is if the Konig is just a spin-off that weighs more, or what? Any comments would be appreciated. Also, I'm curious to know what the durability of light weight wheels like these are (say if you hit a pothole or something). Thanks. cool

Most likely this is the case. Konig is known for copying other people's wheel designs. I think the Racing Harts are a forged wheel (which is why they're lighter and more expensive) and I doubt the Konigs are.

That's not to say the Konigs aren't a good wheel, but you're not getting the same thing for less money. smile

Thanks for the reply Jeff. That's what I was thinking. I'd rather go with Racing Hart, but I wanted some background on Konig as I don't know much about them and keep seeing them for sale on the Trader and such. Forged is good to know. I'll look into it further.

Just like Jeff said, the racing harts are forged while the rotas and konigs are not. Then again you do pay ALOT more for the racing hart. The Rotas arent that heavy at all. They are a good company as is konig. So whatever wheel you decide to go with I think you will be satisfied regardless of manufacturer.

Konig is actually manufactured by Rota. So they're the same company. smile
