Thermostat stuck open, not allowing the engine to reach proper operating temp. The ECU will run pig-ass rich if thats the case...although I don't know how that make the idle low.

That is hard to say Jeff... That would all depend on your setup as well. What fuel system are you running? Fuel pump? Turbo, injectors, etc...

And PPG, I like your sig... haha!

Unfortunately no datalogger frown

My fuel mods:

Supra TT FP with Mike J MAF mod. Thats about it.
Damn my setup seems to be so finnicky, maybe I'll just put in a 2G MAS and 550's and take the easy road out smile

No fuel pressure regulator? That supra fuel pump is too much for the stock reg.

Well I bought it at Magnus, they said the stock 1G FPR can handle it.

It was fine all summer/fall, but now the sub-zero temp are really screwing with something. Gonna play with the 10K pot some more...

I don't think the stock regulator can handle the supra pump...

that pump will make you run rich no matter what. It flows more than the Walmart pumps.

get an adjustable regulator.

Walmart is the smart ass way of referring to the Walbro pumps.

who me? puke

I don't like em to be honest.
They are noisy as hell
flow way too much for most cars (the 255's anyways)

they are cheap (hencethe walmart name) but really they are not THAT much cheaper than the supra or the 195/l denso units.

Flame away, its only my opinion

Noisy? You mean they're even louder than your wastegate venting to the atmosphere? tongue

You should really be using a S-AFC or something when you're using the hacked MAS. The POT will only take you so far. I would check your plugs to make sure you're not leaning out somewhere in your powerband.

And re: the noisy Walmart pumps... I don't see what PPG has to worry about. With all that hair, it would soak up any noise! haha Then again, now I understand why he thinks it's noisy...it's b/c all that hair went away! lol

This is one case when I wasn't actually picking on you Mark smile . I just meant it was a well deserved term for the Walbro pumps.

Mine is loud. But if you can hear your pump it just means your exhaust isn't loud enough.
