Thank goodness my car is slow!
Just seems to me that when someone else is working on my car, which is rare, that I would stick around and watch them work, not only to make sure they don't mess with my car, but also to see how they do things!
OF the 3 cars I have owned, only 2 people have ever driver my cars with myself not present, my mom, because she wanted to drive with the top down, and I wanted to take the stang to cayuga(and I mean, its my mom, i won't say no to her). And my dad, and well, he used to build musclecars, so I trust him too.

Scott, i remember that time you talking about well. radim was going to test drive your car and not joy riding. There was a customer there who was looking to get work done on his Talon as well and he asked radim if he can go along for the test drive to see the work he did on your car and what its like cause he wanted to do the same on his. So when a guy who drives a stock honda gets a ride in a fast car ofcourse he is gonna say WOW its stupid fast my god. When you drive a stock honda and a 2nd gear pull in a stock talon even is fast to them. So for the record he was not out joy riding he was test driving your car. I mean my cars been at the shop many many times and he has tested the car everytime to make sure everything is ok and nothing is loose etc etc. I would want his or any shop testing my car before i get into it to make sure its ok . Thats all

I second that. You cant just do work on a car and give it back to the customer without testing it to make sure everythings alright. What Scott is saying is that when some garage upgrades your fuel system they are not suppose to start/testdrive the car without permission from the owner. Now, tell me Scott, who will get sued if 20 min later your car catches on fire and burns to the ground with all your mods?? I took my car to Radim's shop many many times and spent alot of time there. I mean alot. I've never ever saw Radim joy riding in anyones car. SCOTT. The only guy that has ever beaten any sh!t out of your car was Me(and my dad) when the car was still at satans in Scarborough. Now back to Radims work. I'll let the pictures tell the rest. Awesome work. Now, who do you think is going to work on my new project? My head. Yum. Front Mount. Engine Bay.

For sure, hes a good guy, dont know him, but I went down to Toronto 2 years ago to buy my car off his friend Sylvester. Car was a write-off and Radim's company name was on the ownership when I bought it, from what I understand all the work to get the car back into good condition was done at his shop. Car has been running great for the last 2 years. One thing though, the frame needed to be welded to get a structural safety, Radim did this at his shop, but when I took it to Maaco for the safety, they said it was a sloppy weld job, and charged me just under $2000 to re-weld the frame and the radiator mount. The frame was not even welded just a plate put across the frame and welded over the crack.
Oh well may have been Maaco trying to rip me off..
But the engine is still running strong and body is mint.

Just wondering what is Radims labour rate and how is he with general repairs? I need to get wheel bearings and probably some bushings while im in there. He is a closer than my mechanic so i would give him a shot. I am familiar with the dundas kipling area....he must be on the industrial side on the south east corner?

Me: Hey Radim I was talking to Thomas and he said you do good work on Talons....I need front wheel bearings done when can I come in? Radim: Ahh Man I dont know I am swamped...only one lift working and I have got so much work to do! You will have to set up an appointment. Me: Ok give you a call in a week then? Radim: No,No....Uhmmm bring it in saturday and if it is serious I will fix it right away otherwise I can figure out what needs to be done and book an appointment Okay for other busy shops that work on Talons this is considered an example of good customer service P.S Hey Thomas if he is this busy now....what happens when he gets a sign The past year my mechanic, who has worked on both my cars since new, always clears a lift when he sees my car coming in on the tow truck I guess he should since I helped put his kid through school

Hey Thomas Radim has moved from Kipling to the North-East corner of North Queen and East Mall beside the Kartway indoor go kart track. Enter off of East mall first right past North Queen. Right in front of you where the rcving door is. Did some driving around but I did finally find it.
Wheel bearings and bushings ok....ball joints are shot.
