What car do you have? need more info.
I did my struts on my own with a spring compressor, propane torch, and a breaker bar. The rears are the easiest. Do you have a shop manual?
I am fwd so it will be different if you are AWD. Give us more specifics. Cheers,

Hehehe, people always seem to say the rears are the easiest. The rears are the HARDEST BY FAR! Use a big breaker bar, lots of wd40 (or similar), some heat, and if you're not religious, well you better start. If you melt the rubber bushing, things will get even better, believe me!
Why people think that unbolting 2 bolts to get the front strut off is difficult, i'll never know.
Best of luck, and may the dsm gods be on your side!

Remeber I am fwd, the rears are real simple for us (aha! I have finally found a reason to gloat about being fwd.. ok it passed, back to being envious ![wink wink](/forums/images/graemlins/default/wink.gif) ). I had more trouble with the front as far as getting the struts back in place. Cheers,
