Hi all,
Yes, I searched. But I'm still in need of some help. Here's the scenario.

Just recently, some sort of leak has developed to the point that the car now stalls at every light unless I coast in neutral, left foot brake AND keep on the gas to keep the revs up (sure makes for some interesting footwork!). The car will start, but the revs stay low. After a little driving, the low revs drop off and it just right out stalls.

I did a boost leak test for the first time since I bought the car two years ago freak

I ruled out the ISC motor as I didn't think it would cause stalling (am I wrong to assume this?) and it was in working order before this occurred. The car still boosts to roughly 10psi with a K&N, 2.5" straightpipe and the BCS sleeve removed. As always, any and all help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

You may have lost your BISS (Base Idle Setting Screw) which is located on the throttle body. I believe if this screw falls out (which is common), you will have problems with idle and stalling. The Mitsubishi part number is #MD614948.

Thanks for the reply Rob. Fortunately the screw is still there. Good thing to check though.

You should check the ISC motor because stalling when stopping is a common faulty ISC symptom. i had the same problem myself and had to do the dance on the throttle to keep from stalling...good practise but a pain in the butt. There is a simple test procedure in the shop manual just need a multimeter and check for resistance tween consecutive pairs of pins on the ISC...resitance of 28 to 33 ohms if not then needs to be replaced. The ISC is the same for turbo and N/T engines so u can get a used one. After that i would check the idle switch and things like base idle, plugs, throttle body etc

see ya in the rearview
good luck

I'll add that to the list. There are a few not so obvious vacuum hoses I may have overlooked as well. Thanks Jerry.

On a side note, I find it odd that the factory service manual does not mention the difference in intake manifold gaskets from 90-92 and 93-94. Same goes for the exhaust manifold gasket.
