• Sammy Hagar appeared again on this year's CD, despite being on last years. This is simply because that one song got more votes than ANY other song listed here.
• The songs are arranged to be a good mix. We played around with the order and burned a few test CDs over a few weeks, just to be sure.
• We tried to make it so that there was something for everyone, young and old. In the end, all of the songs were Good Driving Tunes, which is the most important thing. The kind of songs that just seem to make your hammer fall to the floor, just that much faster...
• For you technoweenies, all of the CD's have been burned on a Sony 920S CDR drive, using Mitsui blank media (one of the best types, in my experience). The software was Adaptec Easy CD Creator 3.5 (daily beta), under NT 4/sp3. The source reader was a Plextor 12Plex SCSI.

How Much?

The costs listed in this matrix, are what it has truly cost me to produce these things, including a few coasters (the beta discs) and some miscellaneous supplies. It's enough to break even for me.

(yes, they used to be $1 less, but when the final printing costs came in, the guy had mis-quoted me and had to charge me more so...)

I took a bunch with me to the Shootout, but they quickly sold. The track PA system was playing the CD during most of the races, and it really fit well. For those who were there, you know what I mean...
